As a team, we at Unroll.Me would like to sincerely apologize for the numerous outages we have experienced over the last month. These outages have caused frustration and dissatisfaction for many of our users, and that is not something we can live with.
The last few weeks have been a tumultuous and stressful time around these parts. Unsubscribed emails were leaking back into inboxes, rolled up emails were no longer rolling up, and email became a complete disaster for our users again.
I’m mighty glad you asked that.
You know how it’s impossible to get an adolescent to listen to anything? They are growing up and acquainting themselves with their own development, and life is a mess, you know, hormones and stuff? It’s enough to drive anyone completely bonkers. Sooner or later though, they will settle into themselves and become functioning, decent members of society.
That’s what we were going through. Unroll.Me decided it was time to go through adolescence and disobey our every request. We couldn’t get Unroll.Me to follow any instructions, no matter how much we begged and pleaded, and we were nearing our wit’s end
Unroll.Me was (and still is) growing and developing so rapidly that at one point the body and mind were unable to properly work together. One day we’re innocently sitting on the couch rolling up your emails and the next, uch, we just can’t even. Things were changing too fast and we were a mess.
Things got bad there for a little while, and many users were displeased, and rightfully so. However, we are committed to making certain that their displeasure with our service is something they won’t experience again.
The last month of growing pains has allowed Unroll.me to become stronger, and more capable, than ever. We’ve got big news that is not only going to prove our point, but will also make this last month worthwhile.
On behalf of everyone on the Unroll.Me team, I would like to sincerely thank you for your incredible patience, and your continued support. We would not have been able to come nearly this far without both.
Oh, and stay tuned. You won’t be disappointed.
